In order to illustrate the environmental impact during the entire lifetime of our solutions, we publish Environmental Product Declarations. In addition, we publish Health Product Declarations to communicate about the material content and the associated health effects of our products, responding to a growing need for healthier living environments.

KONE MONOSPACE® ELEVATOR
Life cycle stage
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data from studies carried out in compliance with the ISO 14040-44 standards illustrate the total environmental impact of each life cycle stage. The assessment is based on the KONE MonoSpace® elevator, with a rated load of 630 kg, a speed of 1 m/s, an estimated lifetime of 25 years, and a frequency of 150,000 starts per year traveling between five floors.
KONE TRAVELMASTER™ 110 ESCALATOR
Life cycle stage, LCIA values (EI99)
The assessment is based on the KONE TravelMaster™ 110 escalator, with an equivalent step load of 25 kg, an estimated lifetime of 15 years, operating 14 hours per day, 6 days per week, and 52 weeks per year.
KONE SLIDING DOOR 30
Life cycle analysis
The assessment is done for KONE Sliding Door 30 with dimensions of outer frame of door panels 780 x 2250 mm, and side panels 750 x 2225 mm, mass including packaging 272.08 kg. Estimated lifetime of the product is 15 years.
The full life cycle analysis results for this and other doors solutions can be found in Environmental Product Declarations based on the Product Category Rules: automatic doors, automatic gates, and revolving door systems. Independent verification of the declarations is conducted in accordance to ISO 14025.
